Disability statement

The college and clinic are committed to ensuring that no one is disadvantaged when attending either the clinic or the college. We aim to support students, staff and patients by working with individuals to formulate bespoke plans to ensure you can attend, work and study at the college and at the clinic.

Access

The college and clinic is accessible to those with mobility issues. these include but are not limited to

  • Wheelchair access

  • Accessible toilet facilities.

  • Requesting appoints are held on the ground floor

We encourage all users to contact us and discuss arrangements prior to attending so that we can accommodate o=your individual needs.

Patients

A range of measures can be used to help patients access osteopathic services. these may include but are not limited to.

  • Telephone consultations

  • Video consultations

  • Email / written help and advice

  • Providing a chaperone

  • Making allowance for companions to attend

  • Requesting treatment be provided on the ground floor

  • Video exercises available

Students

The college encourages students with disabilities to contact the college at the earliest opportunity to ensure we can assist you in the best way. a range of measures can be put in place to ensure we can give you the best possible experience. These may include but are not limited to.

  • Colour overlays for reading

  • Additional time in assessments

  • IT solutions depending on need
