You must be a qualified medical doctor with some postgraduate experience in order to study at LCOM. If from a non-UK University, your degree must be eligible for registration with GMC.

Osteopathy in the UK is regulated in the same way as Medicine and Dentistry. Only those who have undergone an approved course are entitled to apply to become registered with the General Osteopathic Council and hold a licence to practise.

On successful completion of the course at LCOM, students are awarded Membership of the London College of Osteopathic Medicine (MLCOM). This award has Recognised Qualification (RQ) status from the General Osteopathic Council (GOsC) and entitles the holder to apply for registration and to practise Osteopathy in the UK. We do not currently have our MLCOM course running.

Due to financial the constraints of a small organisation, we have been unable to run our course since 2020 and consequently our RQ licence has now been withdrawn. In order to resume our Osteopathic course we will need to re-apply for RQ. Please contact us for further details.
